Our mission
The ID/SUD SIG’s mission is to build a collaborative community of clinicians and health professionals committed to improving the lives of people affected by substance use and its infectious complications. By advancing excellent clinical care, research, workforce development, mentorship, and advocacy, we work to improve care, disseminate best practices, and shape policies that address the interconnected public health epidemics of substance use and infectious diseases.
