IDWeek is the annual joint meeting of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, the HIV Medicine Association, the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society, and the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists.
Mentor–Mentee ID and Substance Use Networking Session

The interest group is running a mentor–mentee networking programme at IDWeek 2026. If you are a clinician in training, an early-career clinician, a practitioner, or an investigator who would like to connect with people working in infectious diseases and substance use disorders, this is for you.
Mentees are paired with an experienced mentor and given contact details ahead of the conference. Pairs can then meet during IDWeek at a scheduled SIG session, on a poster walk, or at whatever time suits them both.
Pairs will be emailed in the first week of October, so there is time to plan.
